Posting this for Sec1s especially, because getting a habit of finding the songs that you are singing and getting an idea of how the song goes, helps a lot =]
And don't anyhow make funny remarks, remember TEACHERS AND PRINCIPAL BLOG-HOPS TOO!!!
Sinsin Si Batu Manikam by MJC
Listen to their crescendo and decrescendo carefully.
Sinsin Si Batu Manikam by University of East Chorale
Listen to their soft and loud, when it's soft, it's really soft and when it's loud, it's f-reaking loud.
Bin-Nam-Ma by VJC
VJC choir's tempo are much faster so don't care much about that. Listen more to their dynamics, their crescendo and decrescendo.
I didn't choose our own video taken at St.Petersburg, Russia is because we should listen to other choirs more, learning from them their good areas, rather than listening to our own video which we would find our mistakes but maybe not what we missed out.
Also, to Basses, don't get the idea that we are singing the lowest so we could never sing out. Well listen out for yourself, and you should know if we could sing in one voice like the VJC Basses, why couldn't Bass stand out? Bass could also stand out one you know =] So must JiaYou!!
Bin-Nam-Ma by Taipei Chamber Singers
Their pronounciation may vary from ours', but look at how serious and how focus they are when singing, they don't care how they look, for they know song is more important!!!
Also listen to the little details of the song which creates the atmosphere, like the letter 'M', it's a high pitch 'M', and for Basses holding the letter 'L', please remember as it's very important leh.
Also they gradually getting louder and louder, and they would suddenly become soft and a sudden blast again, like some roller coaster.
Our love for music will never die
