Short announcement
IMPT!!!! Mdm Ng wants to announce again that tomorrow, Saturday 29 November, please bring your sash, for Mdm Goo might want to take a look at it on our performance. And 3 safety pins PLEASE. Also, she notes that, the sash are rather thin and fine, so it's easily torn, so be careful with it. As for black shirt and pants/jeans, you do not need to bring as you might want to wash it before the concert, and it takes time to dry. So, help to spread around to everyone that you know. Scary man, suddenly call me through the house telephone XP Shu

practice
Monday Practice: 10am to 12pm Briefing for Batam: 12pm Music Room Tuesday Practice: 1pm Siglap South CC Practice: 1pm Siglap South CC Friday Practice: 10 AM Siglap South CC Edited on 25 Nov, 9:15PM & 26 Nov 11:40 AM Please bring along both your black t-shirts and black pants or jeans. As we will be trying out on our sash with the black tee and jeans on. So yeah, REMEMBER. And also, remember to bring your MONEY, tickets are bad, MONEY says our concert is gonna "HUAT AH". Anyway, just try to to sell your tickets, if you can't, then bring it on Friday and return them to Mdm Goo. And Bring at least 3 safety pins please, and also if possible bring more for those who WILL forget. Saturday Practice: 10am Siglap South CC Should be correct lah, I asked Ms Amy Lui for confirmation already. However, Tuesday, I kinda forget, but I'm quite sure lah, other than Tuesday, all should be correct unless there's changes. Anyway, any mistakes, please tell me, by tag or whatsoever, so I would be able to change it in time. Edited on 8:14PM Please remember to get your black t-shirts and pants/jeans/skirts for the second half of the performance. Please note that the black t-shirts have to be collared, short sleeves shirts. Information: There's black polo shirts selling at Giornado at Marina Square. I remembered 1 shirt for $23 and 2 shirts at a discounted price. So yeah, you might wanna go and check it out. Edited on 24 Nov, 9PM Wrong information. Should be 1 shirt for $26, not $$23. You could pair up and buy together, so both will get a shirt each and both of you will split the discounted price. Also you need not buy a black shirt, you could borrow from your friends, or brother, or whoever. Wakaka, Mr.Tan

Videos
Posting this for Sec1s especially, because getting a habit of finding the songs that you are singing and getting an idea of how the song goes, helps a lot =] And don't anyhow make funny remarks, remember TEACHERS AND PRINCIPAL BLOG-HOPS TOO!!! Sinsin Si Batu Manikam by MJC Listen to their crescendo and decrescendo carefully. Sinsin Si Batu Manikam by University of East Chorale Listen to their soft and loud, when it's soft, it's really soft and when it's loud, it's f-reaking loud. Bin-Nam-Ma by VJC VJC choir's tempo are much faster so don't care much about that. Listen more to their dynamics, their crescendo and decrescendo. I didn't choose our own video taken at St.Petersburg, Russia is because we should listen to other choirs more, learning from them their good areas, rather than listening to our own video which we would find our mistakes but maybe not what we missed out. Also, to Basses, don't get the idea that we are singing the lowest so we could never sing out. Well listen out for yourself, and you should know if we could sing in one voice like the VJC Basses, why couldn't Bass stand out? Bass could also stand out one you know =] So must JiaYou!! Bin-Nam-Ma by Taipei Chamber Singers Their pronounciation may vary from ours', but look at how serious and how focus they are when singing, they don't care how they look, for they know song is more important!!! Also listen to the little details of the song which creates the atmosphere, like the letter 'M', it's a high pitch 'M', and for Basses holding the letter 'L', please remember as it's very important leh. Also they gradually getting louder and louder, and they would suddenly become soft and a sudden blast again, like some roller coaster.
